These guys are miracle workers. We had saved everything to an external hard drive, but the hard drive failed the first time we tried to access our pictures. All of our children’s baby pictures, videos, … More and a decade of family memories were seemingly gone. We were told locally that they couldn’t do anything and there was not much hope of it being recovered. We were referred to Capital Data Recovery as the only ones who might be able to help, and decided to give it a try even though it is quite a distance away from us.
Levon was very patient and generous with his time going over all the questions that I had. From what I understand it was not an easy fix, and I think other companies would’ve cut their losses and given up after a fair first try, but it was clear that they understood how valuable the content was to us. They ultimately recovered every last picture and video off of the hard drive and got them back to us safely on a new, good quality device.
Throughout the process, they were extremely professional, quick to reply, and clear about possible outcomes and timelines. Pricing was clear and fair. We are so grateful that they did not give up on on this job and really went above and beyond.

And then a few days later, he restored 100% of my data. That's it. It literally works! Some reviews said it's expensive but I completely disagree. Whenever you have a misfortune or accident, whatever amount you will pay you will feel it's expensive. But quite frankly I found them to be affordable. And the fact that they get the job done in a timely manner with great communication and great service, with a functional website that accepts online appointments, is just fantastic! Super convenient location too, with easy and free parking. The way this company handled my issue is EXACTLY the "best case scenario" I had in my mind when I dropped my hard drive. Fantastic service! The staff was absolutely phenomenal!! My hard drive was showing an error message whenever I tried to access the data and when I tried to repair the hard drive myself it was not working. … More I took my hard drive to Capital Data Recovery and I was able to recover most of my data in a timely manner. The staff were so helpful and communicative throughout the entire process! I highly recommend them !!
